- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)boggy. There are three hundred acres of land and eighteen acres of common bogland. There is no wood there and it does not contain much trees.Streams. A little stream runs from the bog to Dunmanus Bay and is known as "Cumar."
- This townland is so called from its being the dwelling place of a band of the Fianna. It contains fifteen families of which nine are Protestants. The family name most common in this townland is also Levis of which there are four families.
