When people were being robbed of their butter by piseogs, they would set a counter-piseog to work. They would go to the wood and get some twigs of the caora cárthainn - thats what I heard it called - and they would bind them around the barrel when they would be making a churn. At the same time they would put plough irons in the fire, the coulter and the soc. Then whoever was taking the butter would have to come to the house. It is only very few used to practise these piseogs - people of the outlaw class you might say.
