  2. The birds which are commonly found in my district are the, Black bird. The Jackdaw. The crow. The swallow and the sea-gulls. These birds do not migrate.
    The black-bird build its nest on a palm -tree. The Jackdaw on a chimney. The crow on a tree-top. These nests are made of sticks and moss and lined in the inside with feathers. The bird sits on her eggs for three weeks.
    It is said to be a sign of rain to see the swallow flying low. It is a sign
