Ar an leathanach seo
- A poor fellow lived in this locality once, who, though simple loved to get money.
Somebody gave him two pence and the poor fellow spent the day looking at the coins, gloating over them and rattling them, evidently enjoying their music.
Somebody at last advised him to hide the coins lest they might be stolen.
Off he set, climbed over the wall into a gentleman's demesne, scooped a hole at the foot of a huge tree where he deposited his treasure.
The owner was a very interested spectator. Knowing his man and wishing to see how he would react, the gentleman on the fools departure immediately placed sixpence beside the coins.
Miser like, the fool could not bear to be separated for long from his treasure, and quickly returned to his treasury.
Kneeling down he spoke soothingly to the coins.
"Are ye nice and warm?". Then, scraping away the clay, "Oh" said he without showing the slightest(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
