Ar an leathanach seo
- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)Fell in dead repose.
And many the night he shouldered it, through dark and dreary roads
But stiff and cold he now lies low
A Chuisle Stór Machree.
Because he was a Fenian bold and fought for liberty.IIII
Come tell me Peter Crowley come tell me brave and true
Who entered into Kilclooney wood that day along with you.
Who stood behind that broad oak tree and fired a signal gun
And said he died for Ireland rights,
Tis you my darling son.V
Around his grave and silent tomb, the grass is now growing green
And underneath, young Crowley sleeps, because he loved the green
In Ballymacoda chapel yard, his remains, they now are laid.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
