- The Pound Fair.
Situate at the Pound Cross between Leamlara Cross and Lisgoold Grave Yard.
This was evidently the main road from Cobh to Tallow, Co Waterford at one time.
Here is situate a field called the "Pound Field" and A Large Stone flat is still in the neighbourhood . The monies owned by people were written on it on Fair days. The great fire was lit on St John's night the eve of the Fair.

About forty years ago two fairs were at the Pound Cross which is on the Lemlara - Lisgoold road and at the north side of Knockaheen. One fair was held in June and the other in November. At the fair there were three tents and two girls by the names of(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile) - Bailitheoir
