We look for birds nests in spring. We play marbeles and play with tops in Spring also. We skate in winter, and in the summer play with chestnuts.
The special game that I play is "Hunt the Hare." One person is the hare, and the other players are the hounds. The hare goes away five minutes before the hounds. Then the hounds go. Who ever catches the hare first wins the game.
The way we amuse ourselves sitting around the fire in winter is by telling stories.
