   A cure for warts used by the old people was to put a stone or anything into a bag and leave it on the road and whoever picks it up will get the warts.
   To cure sore eyes get a water-hen's eggs and boil them, and eat them, and the sore eyes will be cured.
   A cure for the jaundice was to get a live spider and put it into a bit of butter, and give it to the person with the disease and it is said that the person would be cured. To cure measles:- boil sheeps' droppings in milk and give the milk to the child and the child would be cured.
   A cure for the thrush was :- Get a gander and put the gander's beak into the child's mouth and
