- In every parish there are different customs held during the year. In Feenagh we also have different ones. At Christmas which is the greatest festival of the year, we put up holly on pictures and other things and we leave it up until the day after little Christmas. It is then taken down and done away with.
On St Ita's day which is the fifteenth of January the people of Feenagh and also Kilmeedy go to St Ita's well. Everyone wears a shamrock or a harp on St Patricks Day in honour of St Patrick On Palm Sunday the priest blesses palm and everyone brings some home with them from mass and it is sometimes put up on pictures.
