- When the Holy Family were escaping into Egypt they were saved by a spider.
The soldiers made a sudden attack on them/ They immediately took shelter in a nearby cave. When the soldiers came they were going to search the cave, but when they saw the spider they decided that no body was there. The spider commenced to spin a web at the mouth of the cave, and that is how they were saved.
The soldiers left the cave and went on their way.
