- Ballylanders, Co. Limerickon the Kingston Estate and contains 250 acres, 2 roods, and 32 perches (statute measure).
The Estate was sold out on the 5th July, 1855. It had a monastery, now in ruins, near the present Presbytery, founded in the year 1204.
Adjoining Ballylanders is Griston a fine old place which belonged to Charles Massey, Esq., brother of the first Lord Massey and to General Massey who was the first Lord Clarina. Taken from History of City and County Limerick 1826.
