    Long ago there lived a family in Kilruane. One of the boys was very fond of drink. It happened that this boy had no money to buy drink and he was very vexed. That night when the mother was saying the rosary she said "House of Gold". When the son heard this he said "house of Gold" and not a copper in the house".

    In the townsland of Urra there is a bush growing known as the blessed bush. There are several stories about and this is one of them. A priest used to appear every night and say "is there anyone here to serve mass.
    One night a man was crossing the field and he served mass for him. The priest was never seen after that.
