- There was a Landlord who lived in Thornvale his name was Tolor[?] R. Garvey. He was a good landlord for the people around. He lived for about sixty years in Thornvale and then he died. His son's were not Landlord's after him. One of his daughters got married to a man named Minchin. Mr. Garvey left the house to her. She left it and she went to India and her family and they never came back. He had all Thornvale and Annameadle and Loughisle and Blean and Ballybeg and Fortwilliam as tenants. It was divided up that time. They used to pay him with money every half year. He never had a fight with anyone because he died it was all divided up again. There is nobody living in the house now since the Minchins went to India. Mr. Minchin was not able to(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
