In olden times people thought it unlucky to be married on Thursday Friday and Saturday. As the old tradition says, Monday for wealth, Tuesday for health, Wednesday for the best day of all, Thursday for losses, Friday for crosses and Saturday for no luck at all. - The names of the fields on our farm are, the kiln field, the brick field, newplace and peafield. The kiln field got its name because people burned lime in the lime-kiln in it in olden times.
