After a while the devil roared out "Release me Billy Dawson and I'll never ask you to come with me again".
Billy released him and Ould Nick went away leaving a terrible stench after him.
Well Judy + Billy lived happily together for some time after.
At last poor Billy got ill and died. He went first to the gates of hell where he met the doorkeeper.
"Who's there doorkeeper" said the devil.
    "Billy Dawson" he replied.
"Close the gates immediately" said the devil and don't let him in".
The gates were closed and Billy had to go away.
He went next to the gates of heaven. On hearing who was outside St Peter closed the gates immediately and ordered him off.
Not being allowed into either heaven or hell poor Billy is doomed to wander between the two until the last day.
