    Easter Sunday.
    The custom of eating eggs on this day still continues.
    In the morning they are eaten, each person using from three to four.
    On Easter Saturday young lads go round with baskets gathering a "coobóg"
    They got two or three eggs in each house.
    About forty years ago small wooden spoons, made of ash, were used in eating the eggs. These were made specially for the occasion.
    The belief is still common in the district that if you get up early, you will see the sun dance in honour of Our Saviour's Resurrection.
    "Chalk" Sunday is not now observed in the district

    Pancakes are still made on this night
