The scholars would not have to be in to school until ten o'clock. The teacher's name was Mr. O DOnnell. He had to be paid by the scholars at the end of every month. The teacher walked to School every morning and evening. People were very poor at that time and they could not give only sixpence at the end of every month. The master showed them how to draw maps and other things. If hey did not learn their lessons he would give them two slaps. He was a very cross master. He is dead with a very long time.(gan teideal)
