Ar an leathanach seo

  1. The old road from Clog heen to Cahir led from Clogheen out the present Clonmel road to the Pike Cross, then left through Ballyboy on to Hyland's Cross, [?] through Drumlemmon to Rehill, then right to Ballylooby.
    The present road is called the New Line to distinguish it from the Old Road. The word line is used as it was done to line-work and in therefore comparatively a straight line. The men employed [?] This road came from as far away as Burntcourt (5 miles) walked to work each morning and back each night.
    The rate of pay was sixpence per day. It was laid down as a relief scheme during the Famine.
