- There is a blessed well situated in the townland of Tubber in the parish of Lissycasey, and in the County of Clare. People go to visit the well. They bring flowers with them and when they reach the well they decorate it. People leave money at the well also.
It is said that St Nedane founded the well. It is famous as a cure for sore eyes. When the people wash their eyes in it they are healed. Many people are cured at this well. In the neighbourhood of the well two children have been cured, one for his eye sight and the other for his walk. Their mother carried them several evenings in the month of May to this well.- Bailitheoir
