- There is a standing stone at the Knock wood, and it was supposed to be thrown from where Dundalk is now by a Giant (to there). There is a little wooden cross in Barmeath wood at the bottom of a tree and it was put there in memory of a man who was killed, there. There is another stone in a field called the paddocks which is in the townland of Carrick Baggot and there is a track of a knee in it which is supposed to be St. Columcille.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
