    1. bread is the staple food of life. In olden times the bread which they made was not like the bread which we use today. The breads which they made was called -: Leaven Bread, Wheaten Bread, Oaten bread, Stampy, Slim bread, Boxty bread.
    2. The leaven bread was made from Wheat, the moisture which they used was called leaven, it was then baked on an Iron called a griddle.
    3. The Wheaten bread was made from wheat and new milk.
