  1. Last year there was found a gold chalice in the vault of the Franciscan Church, Drogheda. On this chalice there are lovely carvings. It is dated 1634. It is going to be used every day. It is over 300 years old and is worth nearly a thousand pounds.
    It is said to have been used in the Penal days. Since it was found people go to see it. There is also a very small one, used on the hill
