“Once on a time there were two brothers they owned a big ranch of land.”
Once on a time there (was) were two brothers they owned a big ranch of land They were living in one house.
They said they would build another house then they would have a house each.
Then they began to build and when they had the foundation stone made.
A little woman came for three days and told them not to build on the pass.
They did not mind her, and kept on working.
When they had finished.
One of the men was going to get married and live in the house.
They had the day left out to be married, the man died suddenly the day before he was to be married.
Then they thought of what the little woman said. The house was left idle for two years.
The other brother became the owner, and he put a labouring man that came to work with him in the house, named Johnny Ferley he was married and had one child between two and three years of age.
The man used to come home every day for(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
