- Conor Sheridan was a very young boy when he got the knowledge he possessed.

This book gave him the knowledge of seeing into people's minds.
In Conor's early time there was a man from Kildalkey who lost a new axle of a dray which was uncommon at that time.
He went to Conor Sheridan and when Conor saw him he told him to go back to the bog of Frayne to the neighbouring bank of his own in the bog.
