Wildfire.
Any person by the name Walsh is supposed to have the cure of the wildfire. He bleeds his finger and mixes the blood with unsalted butter. This ointment is applied to the wildfire.
Ringworm.
Persons who have the cure of this mix certain herds with unsalted butter and the ointment is applied to the affected part.
Warts.
Several people in this locality have cures for warts.
All you have to do is to tell them the number of warts you have and gradually they will disappear.
When people have warts they get a potato cut it in two halves and rub one half to the warts and then bury the potato. When it rots the warts are supposed to be gone. Other people get a black snail and rub it on the warts and then they put him on a thorny bush When he dies the warts go.
Sprains
Other people cure sprained wrists and ankles. When they see the wrist or the ankle they rub it with their thumb and say certain prayers.
A Sty on the Eye.
