She also made small candles out of rushes dipped in grease.People used to make baskets out of sally rods. They cut and dried the rods and then weaved them.
They made potato baskets and goobans for baby calves to keep them from eating grass until they were big.Long ago people used to tease the wool and then card it into rolls. Then they had a spinning wheel and spun the wool into hanks to knit it into(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
