    The Frayne Road is not good as it is not a main road - it is just a road to the bog of Frayne. The surface is very bad, with many ruts and is not steam rolled. This road is not a favourite with motorists owing to the bad surface. The ruins of Frayne Castle are about a mile out of the town. This castle is supposed to have been destroyed by Cromwell.
    The Kildalkey Road leads to Kildalkey. It is a distance of 4 miles. The surface is good. This Road is also called the Otterstown road.

  2. There are many kinds of herbs in our district, such as nettles, Dockens, Thistles, Scutch and Presha.
    The nettle is very plentiful. It grows by the side of a wall or ditch. It is a very harmful weed. It stings, people make wine out of it,
