- Swynnorton is the name of an estate near our house. It is a beautiful place with every kind of shrubs and trees in it. In the middle of them, there is a beautiful old well. This well has a cure for rheumatism. Many people have been cured by just taking drinks from it.

- There is an old church yard about a mile from our house, and in it are the ruins of an old castle. There is an old stone in these ruins and it has a cure for toothache by kissing it twice. This old yard is in Athlumney.Source: Mrs Bartley, Flower Hill, Navan
