Ar an leathanach seo
- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)churning will be done oftener and if they give less it will be done less times. If a man came in during the churning he would put luck on it. Churning is not done as often in the Winter as in the Summer as the cows do not give as much milk when they are tied in. In the Summer they give more because they are out on the grass.
In the Winter when the weather is cold milk is hard to ripen and there doesn't be much butter on it. Some people feed calves on the milk. Milk is good to drink. If a person lit a pipe or any-thing during the churning it would be a bad churning.
