- One hundred years ago, there was a castle on Tierworker mountain. It was called Lord Osborne's, and you can see its site to this day. There is a mark where the remains of the last piece of wall was.
It is stated that it belonged to the Danes. During some disturbance the castle was surrounded, and a number of valuable things were thrown into the lake, and also hid in caves. There was a lot of gold and silver thrown into the lake
There was a square passage built underground, near my Uncle's place, and it is understood that the people of the castle came down through this and hid.
