- (continued from previous page)noise like music, but when anybody went near to see what it was, it suddenly stopped.
- There is a little white-thorn bush growing in a field behind our house. A Leipreachan is to be seen sitting under this bush on certain nights of the year.
He is dressed in a white breeches and a green jacket, and a red cap.
He is usually seen picking the leaves off the bush and putting them into a jar which he holds in his hand. Certain people tried to catch him but when they would think that they had him he would disappear. It is said that if he was caught, he would give you the leaves in the can, and when you would look into the can it would be full of money.- Collector
