- The names of the animals we keep on our farm are cows, sheep, cattle and horses.
Our house for the cows is a long one one for six cows. There are little walls between every two cows. It is called a byre. The cows are tied with a chain around the neck to the little walls.
The names we have on our cows are 'Whitehead' because she has a white head, 'Bell' because she was bought from a man called 'Bell', 'Daisy' a pet name and 'White Star' because she had a white star on her forehead, 'Curly' because she has curly hair and 'Golden Miller' as she can run very quickly and she is very wild.
The stable is made for four horses but we have only three. Their names are 'Minnie', 'Nellie' and 'Pollie'. They get shod at the village at Millbrook. They get hay for fodder(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
