- In 1903 there was a great storm. There was a number of road accidents. There was a wood in Drumcree and all the trees were knocked. There was a number of dead birds in the wood the next day. Some of the trees fell on the road and the cars were not able to travel the next day. There was a number of people killed but none were killed in this district. Some sheep and cattle were killed.
