   Bread was made from local oats. The kinds of bread made was oaten-meal bread. Potato bread was made from boiled potatoes, flour, salt and a little new milk. It was cut in four pieces and left in the oven to bake. Oaten bread was made with salt, water and oaten meal. Some people put the sign of the cross on a cake. My father does not remember querns.
