I Any number of children form a line. A child is selected to give out "the tig".
The following are rhymes used when giving out "the tig".
I Iccle, eaccle, blue bottle,
Iccle, eaccle out.
II Emmie, Ammie, Immie Oh,
Catch a by the toe,
If she squeals let her go,
Emmie, Ammie, Immie Oh.
The child whom the last word falls upon has the "Tig". Then the rest of the children run away from the child who has the "tig". She follows the children and tries to tip one of them. Whoever she tips first has the tig. Then she runs off with the rest of the children and the child who has the tig runs after them and so on.Beds
