    strangers come in they usually say, "I'll leave the weight of myself in butter on it" and then they churn the milk for a while. The churning usually takes from twenty minutes to a half an hour and sometimes longer. We know that the churning is done when we see the little specks of butter on the glass disc which is on the lid of the churn.
