    bog. The print of the priest's fingers are supposed to be on the rock. There is some writing on the rock but it is very difficult to make it out as it is moss-grown.
    Priests often hid in the houses of the people and sometimes wore the dress or clothes of a layman in order to disguise themselves from the soldiers. If they were caught they were imprisoned and even murdered. Sometimes their heads were cut off and they were placed on a spike or spear for all to see. Large sums of money were given to those who gave information regarding priests and larger sums still to those who took a priest either dead or alive.
