  1. Once upon a time and a very good time it was when the houses were full of penny loaves and streets paved with pancakes there lived a man who had three sons. The youngest was called Gibeen. They had a great orchard of apples and a witch was bringing them. One night he sent out the two biggest boys to catch the witch but when they lay down under the trees they fell asleep and the witch brought the apples. Next night Gibeen went out and caught the witch. He made her tell him where she left the apples. So the father put out the other two sons and they went to work in a farmer's house
