- In the townland of Lissanode parish of Drumraney there is a field belonging to William Buckley and there is a fairy fort in it. There is a heap of stones on the side of the fort and if these stones are removed it is easy to gain admittance to the fort. At night the sound of trampling horses is heard at the top of the hill. There is a flat stone on the side of the fort and there is a bush convenient to the stone. It is said that when the giant heaved the big stone from Knockastia ato Carrick-an-eagh that a piece of it fell here. There is writing on this stone but no one can make it out as it is blurred. It is said that if anyone interferes with this bush he will never have luck and the fairies will always follow you.
