  1. A very wealthy man by the name of Charleton lived in the Parish of Mostrim. His father and mother died when he was quite young and they left him all their money he hesitated in giving any of the money to his sister.
    He had a number of cattle in his farm and he ordered his workmen to bring in some of the cattle and kill them. They were to catch the blood and mix it with blue clay. They built with this mixture a house which is now known as Charletons Folly.
