He had not gone far when up jumped a hare out of the ferns and off started the animal down for the bog and lucky for him there was an old stump of a white thorn bush about three foot high he went straight for it and it caught the centre of the axle and held him fast and he got out of the cart and caught the horse. So he did not venture back after that. He passed by doing the rest of the carting. It was said there were three boys of the same name Mc Cormacks who dreamed(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
