    A couple of yards from our house there is an old bush. It is said that, long ago a man named Wilson was killed there and the ditch dug down on top of him. It ever since goes by the name of "Wilsons Clump"

  3. Foughan's Clump

    This is about 1/4 of a mile from the Village of Edgeworthstown in the townland of Garryandrew. There is an old tree in Mr. Noonan's field. It is said that a travelling man named Foughan was going along the road one day and he fell sick suddenly at that tree and died. A Cross was cut in the tree and it is to be seen yet. This tree has always been called by the name of "Foughan's Clump".
