- (continued from previous page)Mrs Mulryan,
Lisnagrish,
Mostrim. - A couple of yards from our house there is an old bush. It is said that, long ago a man named Wilson was killed there and the ditch dug down on top of him. It ever since goes by the name of "Wilsons Clump"
- This is about 1/4 of a mile from the Village of Edgeworthstown in the townland of Garryandrew. There is an old tree in Mr. Noonan's field. It is said that a travelling man named Foughan was going along the road one day and he fell sick suddenly at that tree and died. A Cross was cut in the tree and it is to be seen yet. This tree has always been called by the name of "Foughan's Clump".
