When Our Lord returned some time after he found the boy drunk. St. Peter said to Our Lord, "See what you have done to that boy, you could have helped the poor man. Our Lord said to St. Peter, "you go and you will find the old man dead and you will get three purses of gold in his pocket. When you get them go to the sea shore and throw them out into the sea." Peter did as he was told but he didn't throw one bag of the money away he said it would be a pity. He kept it for himself. He came back to Our Lord and told him what he had done. Our Lord said "Peter a man of your coat will be covetous until the end of time."
