    Dandeline, Centry, and Gilteac are very useful because they have medicinal properties curing consumption, and Dropsy.
    Planting Leaf, primrose leaf, and marshmallows boiled together in fresh lard will make a very useful ointment for cuts, rash, etc.
    Gilteac or broom, as it is sometimes boiled and the water drunk is a cure for Dropsy.
    Field Parsley boiled in new milk is a cure for Kidney complaints.
    Passion Shamrock has a red spot in the middle of the leaf and it is said that it grew at the foot of the cross where our Lord was Crucified.
