  1. On Saint Brigid's Day people with warts on them visit Saint Brigid's well in Walkers wood in Rathaspeck, Wexford. They place the water three times on each wart. This cures them.

On Saint Patricks Day young people wear Patrick's crosse's while everybody wears some shamrock. Processions take place in the towns of Wexford and many from this Parish walk in it. A banner with an image of Saint Patrick on it is carried in front. Bands also play. Many dances are held in the parish on Saint Patricks night.

On Shrove Tuesday pancakes and hot cross buns are eaten in very house.

On Holy Thursday most people of the parish attend the ceremonies in the church.
On Good Friday at three o clock the Rosary is said in nearly every house. The churches are thronged with people kissing the Cross. A period of five minutes silence is observed in many homes from three o clock on Good Friday evening. All attend the church to hear a sermon on that night
