    There was an old school standing in Ballinavocran on the land of James Doyle fifty years ago. There was a teacher by the name of Miss Nolan. It went by the name of Cametigue school house. There was school taught in it about 130 years ago. The teacher had no government pay. She was supported by the pupils parents in turn with a small of 1 penny per week per child
