   and some of the material was brought from one of his fields by means of barrows. The hole from which it was got is to be seen in the field still and is known as the Barrow Hole.
   There are some regular paths known as Mass paths. One leads from the Ballyroebuck Road to Parnells Cross across our farm, Mr. Codd's and Mr. John Murphy's. It is about a mile long.
   I come to school by another mass path which leads from Ballyroebuck school across my father's farm and Mr Robb Murphy's and on to the road which leads from Ballyroebuck Road at Arrans Cross to Parnells Cross. Another mass path leads from the School Road to the Chapel Road through Mr Henry Green's farm, thus cutting corner-ways across the fields and saving people from having to go to Parnell's Cross and then turning to the right.
   Another mass path leads from the top of Curraduff Hill down across Mr Miley Doyle's land to the chapel.
