There were two farmers living in Cloughbawn Enniscorthy one time.
One was a very rich man, and the other was poor.One day the poor man was ploughing in his own field. The other man was ploughing in a field beside him.
Be gob of man anyhow when the poor man was ploughing he came to a big flagstone, and he called t'other man. The other man tould him to put an ould bush beside the stone so that they could dig it up after dinner. The two of them went home for dinnerDuring dinner the rich man went to the poor man's field with a pick and shovel
He lifted up the flag and he found the crock of gold.
He put the flag down on the hole again, and went home with the gold.After dinner the poor man asked the rich man to come to the stone.
