    The Burning of Boolevogue Chapel
" It happened on fine Sunday morning as the Church bell tolled for first Mass,
That the Yeomen arrived at the Chapel and by it sure they could
    not pass".
Early on the morning of Whit Sunday, the 27th May, a party of yeomen came to Boolevogue Chapel and not finding the priest whom they designed as the next best thing to burn the chapel.
"When they could not the head of the priest get they were very annoyed and put out, for not doing the work of the devil which they did every time they went out.
